Yard Drain Jetting in Bryan & College Station, TX

Clogged Yard Drains, Cleared Not Replaced

High-pressure jetting cuts roots, silt and sludge out of a buried drain line and puts the system back to full flow, without digging up the yard to find out what is in there.

Yard Drain Jetting

What Jetting Actually Does

The line is usually not broken. It is full.

Roots Cut Out

Feeder roots find a joint, get in, and keep growing until the pipe is a mat. Jetting cuts them back to the wall instead of pushing a hole through them.

Silt And Sludge Flushed

Years of fine sediment settle into the low spots and halve the pipe before anything blocks it outright. Water scours that out.

Full Bore Restored

A snake makes a channel. Jetting cleans the whole inside diameter, which is the difference between draining again and draining again for long.

No Trenching To Diagnose

The line gets cleared and assessed from the existing outlets, so nobody opens the lawn to find out whether it was worth opening.

Catch Basins And Grates

Basins, grates and downspout tie-ins get cleared at the same visit, because that is usually where the blockage started.

We Tell You If It Is Broken

If the line is collapsed, back-pitched or crushed, jetting will not fix it and we will say so rather than jetting it twice.

Service Pricing

What Jetting Costs

Jetting is billed by the hour, and most yard drain jobs fall in the same range.

$184.32Per hour, residential yard drain jetting

Time depends on how much line there is, how many basins feed it, and what is in it. We will tell you where you are in that range before we start.

What to expect

  • Appointment time is an estimate. We will send a text message at least 30 minutes before arriving.
  • We need access to the drain outlets and to an outdoor water supply.
  • If the line turns out to be collapsed rather than blocked, we stop and quote the repair instead of billing hours against a pipe that cannot be cleared.
Why It Matters

A Blocked Yard Drain Fails The Same Week It Rains Hard

Yard drains do not announce themselves. The system moves water fine through ordinary rain for years while silt builds and roots work into the joints, and then one heavy Brazos Valley storm arrives, the line cannot take the volume, and the water comes up through the grate and sits against the house.

Jetting is the cheap end of that problem. Clearing a line costs hours. Replacing one costs a trench across the yard, and the turf and beds that go with it.

Questions

Yard Drain Jetting Questions

The tell is behavior in ordinary rain. An undersized system struggles only in a downpour; a blocked one backs up or drains slowly even in light rain, and often smells. We can usually tell you which it is on the phone.
$184.32 an hour. A typical yard drain job runs two to four hours. What moves it inside that range is how much pipe there is, how many basins feed it, and what is actually in the line.
Not a sound pipe. Jetting is water, not a blade. If a line is already cracked, collapsed or crushed, jetting will find that out, and at that point the answer is a repair, not more jetting. We stop and tell you.
Yes, and most of what we jet we did not install. We will also tell you plainly if the original run has no fall or discharges uphill, because that comes back every year regardless of how clean it is.
Yes. Parking lots, common areas and hardscape all run the same way, just with more of it. Those are quoted per property rather than hourly. See commercial drainage.
Then you get a quote for the repair and you do not get billed for hours spent jetting a pipe that cannot be cleared. Depending on what we find that is a French drain, a channel drain, or a re-run of the existing line.
